The 1998 classic "Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World" featured an impressive car – a fierce but nimble Mercedes SUV, and yes, the first-generation M-Class.

On May 21, 1997, the first-generation Mercedes-Benz M-Class (codenamed W163) was officially released.
