A few days ago, the BYD Sea Lion 07EV model was officially released. The new car adopts marine aesthetic design, positioning pure electric medium-sized SUV, and will face the 200,000 yuan market in the future. Sea Lion 07EV is the first model of BYD Ocean Network’s new Sea Lion IP. In the future, Ocean Network will integrate SUV models as Sea Lion IP and integrated sedan models as Seal IP to form a Gemini strategy.
In terms of appearance, the BYD Sea Lion 07EV is based on the previous Ocean
The X concept car is built on the basis of the concept car, which further strengthens the family style of the Ocean series models. The vehicle is stylish, and the bold line cutting on the upper part of the front X shape makes the entire front face more three-dimensional. The Sea Lion 07EV adopts a design called Haiyue double U floating headlights. The decoration of the lamp body and its outer boomerang shape together form the shape of the letter C. The daytime running lights that are lit in turn are full of ritual.
The side of the car body is also designed with a double waist line. The dynamic lines outline the elegant back profile of the Sea Lion 07EV. The smooth roof line naturally sweeps back, sinks, and integrates with the rear wing. At the intersection of the D-pillar, the roof, and the rear wing, the line cutting forms the X shape, echoing the overall style. The D-pillar triangular window area is also decorated with metallic colors.
The rear shape of the Sea Lion 07EV is full, and the Haitian line-through momentum taillight is a major highlight of the tail. The parametric distribution of point light sources progresses from large to small layers, showing a certain sense of technology. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4830/1925/1620mm, and the wheelbase is 2930mm. The Sea Lion 07EV will have two wheel rim shapes, namely 19-inch double fork shape and 20-inch blackened five-spoke shape.
In terms of the interior, the Sea Lion 07EV continues the fluid feeling of the exterior design, and uses a variety of materials to interpret various marine elements. The soft area of the interior accounts for more than 80% of the interior area of the vehicle. The curve extending from the upper part of the instrument panel to the sides outlines the wrapping shape of "floating wings".
The new car uses a flat-bottomed four-spoke sports steering wheel. The exquisite crystal gear rod integrates aluminum processing skills and has a mechanical texture. The buttons around it integrate common functions such as start, emergency warning lights, automatic parking, and air conditioning. It is worth mentioning that the front window is also designed with retro-shaped triangular windows, and the seats are decorated with corrugated quilting and double stitching.
In terms of configuration, the atmosphere light of the Sea Lion 07EV offers 128 colors, and the waterfall atmosphere light in the door panel and the floating light inside the glass panel of the instrument panel can match the rhythm of music. The new car is also equipped with a 12-speaker Danah stereo, a three-flavor fragrance system, a 220V car power supply, and also has Karaoke, a panoramic canopy (glass area of up to
2.1 square meters), water spray wipers, NFC keys, AR-HUD (projection area up to 50 inches) and other configurations. In addition, the car comes standard with 11 airbags, direct tire pressure monitoring system, driver monitoring assistance and other configurations.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the car is equipped with a high-end version of the intelligent cockpit DiLink 100 and a high-end intelligent driver assistance system – DiPilot 100.

In terms of 100, the new Sea Lion 07EV has up to 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter wave radars, 11 cameras, and features such as full-scene intelligent driving, seven intelligent reminder functions, lane keeping, and emergency braking.
The Sea Lion 07EV adopts a CTB vehicle safety architecture, with front double fork arms and rear five-bar independent suspension. In terms of power, referring to the previous declaration chart, it is expected that the car will provide three power forms, of which the two-wheel drive version will provide 230kW and 170kW motors respectively, and the maximum power of the front and rear motors of the four-wheel drive version will be 160kW and 230kW respectively.
