New energy vehicles can also be recharged quickly by changing a battery like a mobile phone. Last weekend, 10 electric vehicle charging and replacing power stations were opened in this city, and the taxi team in Beijing also welcomed 500 new members.

Change a battery in two and a half minutes.

Last Saturday, a yellow and white Beiqi new energy EU220 electric taxi was replacing its battery in the power exchange room in Boda Road gas station of Sinopec, the fourth ring road in the southeast.

The car drives into the power exchange room and enters the "tailor-made" yellow track groove with rotating rollers. As soon as the wheels enter the groove, the car body will automatically adjust. When the driver stops the engine and goes to the computer nearby, he clicks on the touch screen, and after checking "Please confirm that the vehicle has been turned off and has reached the power change operation position", he clicks "Power change".

It takes only a few seconds for the fully automatic manipulator to remove the battery, put it back into the battery charging room separated by a wall along the track, and detect the remaining battery power. The remaining battery power, the battery replacement power, and the electricity and service charges to be paid are all displayed on the computer screen. After the driver clicked Pay, the manipulator got busy again and put a "full" battery on the car.

It takes only two and a half minutes from the taxi to the battery replacement, which is faster than the refueling time of ordinary fuel vehicles of 3 to 5 minutes. Boda Road Power Station can change power 240 to 250 times a day.

At present, 10 such charging and replacing power stations have been officially put into operation, which are jointly built by BAIC New Energy, Sinopec, Aodong New Energy and Shanghai Electric Bus, namely Boda Road Station, Jimei Station, Xinfadi Station, Huairou Station, Shunyi Station, changping station Station, Xingyixing Station, Yanqing Station, Glass Factory Station and Baoyuan International Station. At present, this power-changing mode is only applicable to Beiqi New Energy EU220 model, and 500 power-changing taxis of this model are put into operation simultaneously.

The cost of 100 kilometers is 70% of the fuel vehicle.

Master Yang, the "brother" of Yanqing, is one of the first batch of pure electric taxi drivers in Beijing. "In the past, there were not many piles filled quickly, and I often had to wait for an hour to get anxious."

Shortening the charging time from a few hours to a few minutes is the biggest advantage of the electric taxi. For double-shift operation and high-load taxis, the operational efficiency is greatly improved.

Zheng Gang, general manager of BAIC New Energy, said that battery replacement and recharging can also eliminate potential safety hazards in advance. "Long-term fast charging will damage the battery life, and every process of battery replacement is a physical examination and repair, which will eventually extend the battery life by 30%. Especially in the cold winter, the stable indoor temperature can ensure the charging effect. "

The charge for each battery change is calculated according to the remaining power of the original battery and the power of the replacement battery. Each battery is fully charged at about 38 kWh.

"Drivers don’t run out of electricity before changing electricity. According to our calculation, on average, the cost of changing electricity every time is about 30 yuan, which is basically equivalent to the cost of charging, but it is greatly reduced compared with fuel vehicles." The relevant person in charge of BAIC New Energy has calculated an account. At present, the price of No.92 gasoline in Beijing is 6.21 yuan per liter, which is about 50 yuan if the fuel vehicle consumes 8 liters of oil per 100 kilometers. "This is only a preliminary situation, and it will be further adjusted according to the actual operation of 500 taxis, and then the charging standard will be officially announced."

During the year, 2,000 vehicles were delivered for rent.

In July 2015, BAIC New Energy and Sinopec signed a strategic cooperation agreement to transform existing gas stations into charging and replacing power stations. This can not only save land resources, but also do not change the driver’s habits.

Why is it called "charging and replacing power station"? It is understood that while setting up a centralized power exchange room, the charging and replacing power station will also be equipped with a number of fast charging piles. For example, Boda Road Station will set up four fast-charging piles to provide charging services for ordinary social vehicles.

A few days ago, BAIC New Energy signed cooperation agreements with Beijing Yinjian Group and taxi companies in eight suburbs, including Huairou and Shunyi, and will deliver 2000 Taipei Automobile New Energy EU220 electric taxis during the year.

Xu Heyi, Chairman of BAIC Group, said that in 2016, 50 charging and replacing power stations will be put into operation in Beijing, which will meet the operation demand of replacing no less than 6,000 pure electric vehicles, and the replacement radius will not exceed 5 kilometers. By the end of 2017, there will be 200 charging and replacing power stations, supporting the scale of 30,000 pure electric vehicles.
