Lynk & Co 08 new energy performance/battery life/fuel consumption/off-road analysis

[Autohome Professional Review] In the positive film of "Hybrid SUV TOP10 Horizontal Review" a few days ago, we saw ten SUVs of different hybrid forms competing in the same field, including square box hardliners who can go up mountains and down rivers, and city SUVs with complete home orientation. Horizontal comparison is convenient for comparison of models of the same level, but for the introduction of individual models, I believe everyone still prefers graphic form. In this article, I will introduce (|) the performance analysis of 2023 220km four-wheel drive Halo (hereinafter referred to as Lynk & Co 08) in four items: feed acceleration, high-speed feed fuel consumption, 1000km extreme battery life challenge, and off-road hill climbing.

● Feed acceleration

The power system of Lynk & Co 08 is composed of a 1.5T engine and front and rear dual motors. The maximum power and maximum torque of the system are 436kW and 905N · m respectively. When the power is sufficient, its 0-100km/h acceleration takes 4.80 seconds at the fastest, which is only 0.2 seconds slower than the official 4.60 seconds, and the somatosensory is almost the same. However, when feeding, the front and rear motors can only be said to be powerless, and the battery has almost completely become a "counterweight" at this time. Finally, the 0-100km/h acceleration takes 7.83 seconds, which is 3.03 seconds slower than when the power is sufficient, and the acceleration ability is attenuated by 39%. It can be seen that the power has a relatively large impact on the performance of Lynk & Co 08.

● High-speed feed fuel consumption

Coming to the high-ring section of the test site, we conducted a high-speed feed fuel consumption test of about 240km for each car for 2 hours. Before the test, the vehicle’s power was consumed to the forced start state of the engine, and then it was filled with fuel to start the test. Lynk & Co 08 had a power of –% before the test. Finally, after driving 243.0km at an average speed of 120.1km/h, it filled up the oil again and shook the car until the gasoline level no longer dropped. The car was filled with a total of 23.93L of gasoline, thus calculating that the measured fuel consumption was 9.85L/100km. The Lynk & Co 08 new energy with a 3-speed DHT gearbox performed well enough to rank third among the ten cars. In addition, the apparent power also increased from –% to 4%.

● 1000km limit battery life challenge

The high-speed feed test really made these hybrid cars a little difficult. I believe that everyone will rarely encounter such extreme working conditions in daily use, and long-distance travel is their strength. Can the official battery life of more than 1,000 kilometers with full oil and full power run?
The official nominal fuel tank volume of Lynk & Co 08 is 60L, the battery capacity is 39.6kWh, and we set the driving mode to super range before departure. Finally, after 13.76 hours of driving and a subtotal mileage of 119.5km, the average speed was 81.4km/h. During the refueling process, it injected a total of 63.83L of gasoline. Calculated at the oil price of No. 92 gasoline of 7.85 yuan/liter and the electricity price of 1.2242 yuan/kWh, the comprehensive driving cost of Lynk & Co 08 per kilometer is only 0.49 yuan, the lowest in the field. The 3-speed DHT gearbox played a key role.

● Off-road climbing

People buy SUV models first because of the large space, and second because of the high chassis, which is better than sedans. Even urban SUVs should have a certain ability to cross non-paved roads. Therefore, we need to conduct the most basic climbing test on them.
Lynk & Co 08 is equipped with a special off-road mode, and the 36 ° and 42 ° ramps do not hold it back. The 905N · m torque makes the car full of confidence, and the climbing process is relatively easy. And the shorter body length and wheelbase also reflect the advantages in this link, and there is no bottom support during the whole process.

Full text summary

The above is the performance of Lynk & Co 08 in the four non-standard projects in this horizontal review. Among the ten cars, its fuel consumption performance is relatively good, and the comprehensive driving cost per kilometer has become the lowest in the audience. Not only that, it can also hand over a "zero hundred" acceleration time of 4 seconds when the battery is sufficient, which can be said to be "both fish and bear’s paw". At the same time, as a city SUV, it also shows a certain strength in the process of climbing on non-paved roads, and it can also be competent for daily family travel on some bad roads.
