On February 10th, BYD held a press conference on BYD’s intelligent strategy of "Eye of God Initiates the Age of National Intelligent Driving" in Shenzhen, and released the national intelligent driving strategy, and launched the "Eye of God" advanced intelligent driving system. Wang Chuanfu, president of BYD Group, announced that all BYD models will be equipped with high-level intelligent driving to achieve full coverage of high-level intelligent driving.

As early as 2018, BYD proposed that "the first half of new energy vehicles is electrified, the second half is intelligent, and good technology should be available to everyone". In the first half, the popularity of BYD’s blade battery and DM plug-in technology led the development of electric vehicles, and in the second half, the popularity of BYD’s high-level intelligent driving with the eye of God continued to lead the development of smart cars.

At the press conference, BYD demonstrated its vehicle intelligence strategy. The core of this strategy is to realize the efficient integration of electrification and intelligence through Xuanji intelligent architecture. It is the industry’s first intelligent architecture integrating intelligence and electricity, enabling the car to have an intelligent brain and neural network, with "three networks and four chains at both ends of one brain"-central brain, cloud AI and car AI, car networking +5G network+satellite network, sensor chain+control chain+data chain+mechanical chain. It can fully perceive, concentrate on thinking, accurately control and cooperate with execution like an advanced intelligent life.

It is worth mentioning that BYD’s architecture is also fully connected to DeepSeek, and Zhijia also mines "golden data" based on VLM: in 2024, the new training mileage was 72 million km/day; Iterate the model every seven days; By the end of 2025, the training mileage is estimated to be 150 million km/day.

In terms of R&D investment, BYD has more than 4,000 engineers focusing on the research and development of intelligent driving technology. BYD’s intelligent driving technology has leapt from L2 to L3/L4, and it is close to L3 in some high-end models, supporting high-speed NOA (Navigation Assisted Driving) and CNOA (Unmanned Urban Navigation). Its hardware configuration covers multi-sensor fusion schemes such as laser radar, millimeter-wave radar and camera, and the computing platform is a combination of self-developed chips and NVIDIA Orin series, with a maximum of 508TOPS.

Relying on its huge user base, BYD has built the largest Che Yun collaborative database in China, which provides massive data support for algorithm iteration. Its R&D team has a scale of 90,000 engineers, covering AI algorithms, chip design, vehicle integration and other fields, and has full-stack self-research capabilities.

The core of BYD’s strategy is to sink the high-level intelligent driving technology to the 100,000-yuan market and achieve full coverage of high-level intelligent driving. For example, Qin L, New Dolphin, Seal 06 DM-i and other entry-level models will be equipped with the "Eye of God" system, which greatly reduces the threshold for consumers to experience intelligent driving. This strategy not only challenges the high-cost technical barriers of traditional intelligent driving, but also forces the industry to accelerate technical iteration and cost optimization. Eye of the God A- DiPilot 600: It is mainly installed in Wangwang brand, equipped with 3 laser radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 cameras equipped with dual Orin X chips, with a computing power of up to 508TOPS, and supports functions such as NOA without maps in urban areas.

DiPilot 300, Eye of God B- high-order intelligent driving laser version: it is equipped with Tengshi brand and BYD brand, equipped with a 96-line laser radar, 11 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic radars, and adopts NVIDIA Orin X intelligent driving chip, with a computing power of 254TOPS, and supports high-speed+urban full-scene NOA.

Divine Eye C- DiPilot 100: It is mainly equipped with entry-level BYD models below 100,000 yuan, equipped with the world’s original forward-looking three-eye camera, with 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars and 12 cameras, using NVIDIA Orin N/ Horizon J6 M smart driving chip, with a computing power of 84TOPS, equipped with Orin N or black sesame chips, with a computing power of 84TOPS.

Among them, Eye of God C is the most shocking this time, and its high-speed NOA defined by BYD is designed for high-speed and urban expressway. With the help of high-speed navigation HNOA technology, the system can independently complete complex driving tasks such as going up/down ramp, lane keeping, cruising driving, autonomous lane changing and avoiding or bypassing some obstacles according to the navigation planning path.

At the same time, BYD also demonstrated the function of parking service AVP, which can realize intelligent services such as getting off the bus, parking, and picking up things at any time according to users’ actual parking habits and scenes. The memory navigation MNOA function is designed for high-frequency travel routes such as commuting, and can complete intelligent driving tasks such as starting and stopping traffic lights, passing at complex intersections, automatic overtaking, full-scene detour comity and game lane change.

According to the survey data of Observer Network, 74% of users will consider whether the vehicle is equipped with high-level intelligent driving when buying a car. Smart driving function has become a "hard indicator" for users to buy cars. Starting from the concept of "smart driving for all", BYD has pushed high-level smart driving technology from the high-end market to the mass market through technological innovation and cost control, breaking the strong relationship between smart driving and high prices and realizing the popularization of smart driving technology. BYD’s "Eye of the Gods" has made advanced intelligent driving as indispensable as seat belts and airbags, and at the same time, it has also promoted the position of China’s smart car industry in the global market.

At the end of the conference, BYD Dynasty Road and BYD Ocean Zhang Zhuo jointly released the first batch of 21 models of BYD Eye of God C, covering 70,000 to 200,000 classes, including seagulls with the most affordable price, which truly realized the full coverage of high-level intelligent driving and led the intelligent transformation of the automobile industry.

In addition, BYD will also bring "five standard items": DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit, 12.8-inch central control panel, full LCD instrument, capacitive steering wheel and special intelligent driving paddle. At the same time, in order to give back to old users, BYD also decided to upgrade the model of Eye of God C that supports high-speed navigation to support urban memory navigation function, and plans to push it by OTA before the end of the year.
